Velneshwar Beach

Velneshwar beach is located in the north side of the shastri river and is amongst the top 20 cleanest beaches of India. The place is surrouned with coconut palm trees which adorn the beach like a necklace while the rockfree seawater makes it a pleasurable experience for tourists and swimming lovers.
Situated 170 km away from Ratnagiri and 370 kms away from Mumbai, Velneshwar beach is also very popular for its Maha shiv ratri fair which is conducted in the month of March every year making it very popular amongst the locals as well as the worshippers of Lord Shiva.
