Ramteck Mandir

Ramtek Mandir is situated in the Ramtek district at Nagpur in Maharashtra. It is also popularly called as Ramtek Fort Temple as it is located atop a hill inside a fort which makes it an enriching experience. This mandir is considered to be a very rich source of Mythological history as lot of events have occurred here.
It is also believed that before Lord Rama left for Lanka to fight against the mighty ravana, it was at this temple too where he took some rest. As a result Lord Rama is the deity of this temple and it is highly revered and worshipped by the locals as well as from tourists. Moreover, the place is quite peaceful and relaxing while on weekends especially on sundays you get to devour the special Prasad offered to the devotees which is believed to be very tasty!.
