Pitalkhora Caves

Pithalkora caves are located in the Satmala Valley of the Western Ghats and is one of the oldest caves in Maharashtra. The place consists of 14 rock-cut caves which displays some of the earliest examples of rock-cut architecture in India.
This beautiful location consists of 14 buddhist caves with intricate carvings & falls into the Aurangabad district. There is also a water stream which further accentuates the beauty of the Pithalkora caves. Surely a photogenic location for photography lovers.
