Lenyadri Caves

Lenhyadri caves holds a lot of significance in Maharashtra because it houses the holy Ashtavinayak shrine which is amongst the eight important shrines of Lord Ganesha in Maharashtra. It is because of this, it attracts a lot of worshippers the whole year round. The cave no.7 houses one of the Ashtavinayak Ganapati.
Located at Junnar village near pune, it consists of 30 rock cut caves and you can also plan your trip to Lenyadri temple via the scenic & cool Malshej ghat making it more fun and less tiring for your friends and family. Considering it’s a prominent temple, it also has a pick up and drop service which is chargeable but it is highly recommended to climb the stairs instead which is a different experience altogether.
