Tulajapur – Tulja Bhavani Mandir Maharashtra

Tulijapur Temple also popularly called as Tulja Bhavani temple is situated in Tuljapur district of Maharashtra. In the osmanabad distict of Maharashtra, this temple is amongst the Shakti Peeths of Maharashtra. It is very popular amongst the tourists as well as the locals and you will often find this temple crowded. The architecture of Tulijapur temple is Hemadpanthi style & is simply beautiful to say the least.
The temple is considered to be the deity of the Bhosale Royal Family, the yadavas & numerous families from different castes of Maharashtra. Also for a fact, Shivaji Maharaj also used to visit this temple to seek the blessings of the Goddess who gave him the legendary “Bhavani sword” which helped him win numerous wars.
